On the morning of March 14th，Prof.Cascini Gaetano from Politecnico di Milano visited School of Mechanical Engineering at the invitation of Prof.Jiao Kui, and had a meeting with vice-directors of three departments.
On behalf of school of Mechanical Engineering, Tianjin University, Vice dean& Prof.Jiao Kui extended a warm welcome to Prof.Gaetano.He said,”This is the second time that we met after my last visit in POLIMI,and we value this opportunity to deepen our cooperation”.In the meeting, Prof.Jiao gave a brief introduction about School of Mechanical Engineering of TJU, especially the full English program and recruitment policy. Prof.Gaetano presented the information of Mechanical Engineering in POLIMI and courses structure in detail.
Two sides agreed as follows: first, TJU will invite one of the experts in Energy field of POLIMI to visit TJU and deliver a speech in the coming Combustion Engine summer school; second, the double master degree program will be drafted and planned,with the mode of one year home institution plus one year abroad plus half year flexible; last, the students exchange short program is an easy way to begin our cooperation, and more efforts will be made on this point.
