Brief Introduction to Peiyang Forum
Aiming to offer a platform of exchanging brilliant ideas and discussing cooperation, Tianjin University (TJU) has successfully held the “Peiyang Forum for Young Scholars” for seven sessions, which have invited approximately one thousand young scholars worldwide. As a key pathway to the academic governance, it is a crucial component in its efforts to ensure that a more diversified and competent peer faculty network will be established and strengthened, thus eventually implementing the “Peiyang Scholars Program” and fostering the construction of the First-class University project.

Qualifications Outstanding applicants at home and abroad, shall possess good political quality and ideology with physical and mental health, while holding a PhD degree from home and abroad by prestigious universities, and showing great academic potentials and brilliant achievements in related subject areas. Positions and Remuneration Outstanding Young Professor（Selected for the National Overseas Talents Youth Program through the application of Tianjin University） Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 650,000 to 700,000 (all-inclusive salary). Relocation allowance: RMB 1,700,000 to 2,000,000 (including national and Tianjin municipal government support). Start-up research fund: RMB 2.5-4.5 million for science and engineering fields (including the national government support). Team support: During the first two employment years, one doctoral student and three master students quotas are given annually, and one assistant quota is supported. Other relevant policies: TJU will solve the children’s education and help to solve the spouse's employment.
Outstanding Young Professor
Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 480,000 to 530,000 (all-inclusive salary). Relocation allowance: RMB 200,000 to 1,000,000 (including Tianjin municipal government support). Start-up research fund: TJU will provide RMB one million for science and engineering fields and 0.2 million for humanities and social science fields. Other relevant policies: TJU will solve the children's education. Outstanding Young Associate Professor
Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 330,000 to 380,000 (all-inclusive salary). Relocation allowance: RMB 100,000 to 500,000 (including Tianjin municipal government support). Start-up research fund: TJU will provide RMB 0.5 million for science and engineering fields and 0.1 million for humanities and social science fields. Other relevant policies: TJU will solve the children's education.
Young Associate Professor
Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 290,000 to 320,000 (all-inclusive salary). Relocation allowance: RMB 100,000 to 500,000 (including Tianjin municipal government support). Other relevant policies: TJU will solve the children's education.

Tianjin University is a key national university under the administration of the Ministry of Education of China.
